This is a great book for beginers, for someone who just wants to know the basics, or just for the coffee table. The cover/dustjacket of the book is colorful and inviting. Inside there are color illustrations (mostly of hands). There is an introduction and a brief history of palmistry. There are descriptions of the different hand types, fingers, nails, thumb, lines, etc. and what they mean. There are nice big pictures, descriptions are easy to understand, and there are a couple of example readings at the end.
